David Payseur is the Chief Auditor for Arrowpoint Capital.

David was named Chief Auditor for Royal & SunAlliance in December of 2000, after joining Royal & SunAlliance in 1998 as audit manager.

Prior to joining R&SA, David worked for IBM in Charlotte for 16 years. With IBM, David developed a broad background in cost accounting, business controls, and general accounting. He held a number of positions in accounting, planning, and management. During his tenure, he was instrumental in the divestiture of IBM’s ECAT division to Solectron.

David also teaches Taxation and Auditing at Gaston College (NC).  In addition, he has taught Accounting Principles at Belmont Abbey College in Belmont, NC and Southern College in Gastonia, NC.

David earned his Bachelor of Arts with a major in Accounting from Belmont Abbey College, Belmont, NC where he graduated summa cum laude. He is a Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Fraud Examiner. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Internal Auditors, and Assocation of Certified Fraud Examiners and serves on the Board of Governors for the Piedmont Region Institute of Internal Auditors.
