Chief Claims Officer Julie Fortune Inducted into the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers

Arrowpoint Capital Chief Claims Officer Julie Fortune was recently inducted as a fellow in the College of Workers’ Compensation Lawyers at its Tenth Annual Induction Dinner in New Orleans.  Julie was one of 46 lawyers joining the national organization this year. 

The college honors attorneys who have distinguished themselves in the field of workers' compensation. Members are nominated for traits they have developed in the workers’ compensation arena for 20 years or longer.

Julie has been Arrowpoint’s chief claims officer since 2004.

Fellows of the College demonstrate to their peers, the bar, bench, and public that they possess the highest professional qualifications and ethical standards, character, integrity, professional expertise, and leadership. They also have a proven commitment to scholarship, teaching, lecturing, and distinguished published writings on Workers' Compensation or related fields of law.

Julie Fortune currently oversees workers’ compensation claims activity for Arrowpoint Capital. Before joining Arrowpoint, she served as the Vice President of Staff Counsel, Services Provider Group, and Claims at Fireman's Fund Insurance Co. Prior to Fireman's Fund, Julie held various senior level positions with Zurich NA and Liberty Mutual Insurance. Throughout her career, Julie has gained extensive experience in claims, organizational transition, and vendor and litigation management. Julie earned a Juris Doctorate from Antioch School of Law, a Master of Arts from Ohio State University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Oregon.
