Arrowpoint Capital Chief Claims Officer Julie Fortune to Speak at CLM Annual Conference
Arrowpoint Capital Chief Claims Officer Julie Fortune will examine how medical and claims practices affect both the health of injured workers and their related claims during a roundtable discussion at the 2016 Annual Conference of the Claims & Litigation Management (CLM) Alliance this week in Orlando, FL.
The presentation -- entitled "Putting the Cow Back in the Barn: Solutions for Addressing and Curbing Harmful and Excessive Medical Treatment" -- will bring together workers compensation expertise from the perspectives of an employer, an insurance carrier, a defense attorney and a treatment guidelines expert. Presenting with Julie will be Bill Austill of Austill Lewis Pipkin & Maddox; Patricia Brookey of PMA Companies; and Mark Pew of PRIUM.
The CLM is the only national organization created to meet the needs of professionals in the claims and litigation management industries. Founded in 2007, the CLM currently has more than 30,000 members and fellows. Its annual meeting is attended by 1,800 participants.
